Small company, big vision: Gimax Stampa invests in the future with the Durst P5 X
SUCCESS
The story of Gimax Stampa, a small Rome-based business founded in 1992 and specialized in small- and large-format digital printing, shows that innovation is not a matter of size, but of vision. With the installation of the Durst P5 X flatbed printer, the company led by Massimiliano Medei has chosen to focus on quality, productivity, and reliability in order to respond more effectively to the demands of a constantly evolving market. “The world of printing is increasingly fast-paced: customers want everything in record time. Our philosophy has always been to combine speed and quality,” says Medei, “and this is what has rewarded us over the years, building customer loyalty.”
Founded as an offset print shop, Gimax Stampa has successfully reinvented itself over the years, gradually transitioning to digital. And while its early customers were those typical of traditional printing, today its core business focuses primarily on communication agencies and local event organizers, with ongoing collaborations with museums and a growing presence in the trade-show and exhibition sector. “Precisely to continue growing in this area, we needed a machine that could guarantee reliability and speed,” Medei continues.
The P5 X has proven to be the ideal solution. “Just over two months after installation, we have already seen a significant increase in productivity” Medei reports. “The P5 X is an extremely versatile printer: the roll-to-roll configuration has enabled us to acquire new jobs in the exhibition sector, while the configuration with white ink and varnish has expanded our offering into other commercial segments.”
Equally essential for Gimax Stampa was the support provided by the Durst team – from the machine selection phase to installation and after-sales assistance. “The service is truly outstanding: fast, competent, always available. With Durst, I can sleep soundly: I know what I can promise my customers, and I know I can deliver.”
