Our history

»Those who do not understand the past cannot shape the future!«

For nearly 100 years, Durst has been making history – first in the analog world and, since the 1990s, in the digital imaging world. With cameras and enlargers, Durst laid the foundation for its success story. In professional photography, the name Durst was and still is synonymous with quality, perfection, and reliability. These values are deeply embedded in their DNA and are visible in their daily business dealings with customers and employees.
