Südtiroler Volksbank gets involved in the Durst “Safety in South Tyrolean Schools” project
25 Durst Habitat air disinfection systems sponsored for classrooms
Brixen, Italy – 10 May 2021 – Durst, manufacturer of advanced digital printing and production technologies, has just announced the involvement of Südtiroler Volksbank in the “Safety in South Tyrolean Schools” project.
This anti-COVID-19 initiative was launched by the Durst Group early in 2021 to maximize safety in educational institutions with the help of technical solutions. Durst Habitat air disinfection systems – which filter infectious viruses from the room air with >99.9% certified effectiveness – are used in classrooms in addition to the compulsory face masks in combination with hygiene and distancing rules.
Brixen Technical College and the kindergarten in Milland were fitted out initially, to enable the systems to be tested in everyday school life. The 25 Durst Habitats which have now been sponsored by Südtiroler Volksbank will be shared between various schools in Bolzano, Brixen, Deutschnofen, Latsch, Merano, Mals, Olang, and Tramin together with 25 systems purchased by the German Education Department.
The sponsored Durst Habitat 100Vs have a compact design with a carrying handle for totally flexible positioning in the classrooms.
Durst is appealing to all businesses to follow Südtiroler Volksbank’s example by sponsoring more Durst Habitats for schools of their choice. The air disinfection systems will be made available by Durst at cost price for this purpose, installation included. Any firms interested are requested to contact:
