From pixel to output, the future in corrugated packaging and display printing is digital

Once upon a time the choice of fruit juice on supermarket shelves was mostly limited to orange and apple flavours, certainly not much else. But how things have changed. Today, for instance, there can be 30 to 40 different variations, many aiming at a specific market segment and target group. For example, Christmas, Halloween or Easter just for starters all requiring different primary packaging.
With the choice for consumers considerably greater, brands are anxious to differentiate themselves from competitors. They want to retain and grow dwindling brand loyalty through greater engagement with customers. Therefore, packaging is playing an increasingly important role in acquiring consumers “at the shelf” when a final buying decision is made.
