Our training center offers customers the opportunity to participate in one of our target-group-oriented training courses.
This training is intended for machine operators to learn the general handling and maintenance of the printing system. Focused on the basic functionality of the equipment, the participant will learn how to operate the system, the media handling, the operation of the Durst Printer Software, the influence of different printer settings, evaluation of print quality and regular maintenance procedures.
Participants are able to operate and maintain the printer correctly for a flawless production process.
Level 1. The content of this training offers maintenance engineers to deepen their knowledge in the machines regular and preventive maintenance, as well as remotely guided first-aid troubleshooting.
Level 2. In addition to the contents of the Level 1 training the engineer deepens his/her knowledge in troubleshooting and repair. Based on detailed information about the various printer components as well as certain guidelines for troubleshooting, the participant will have advanced technical knowledge after completing the training.
The participant will learn to operate the printing system, to carry out regular and preventive maintenance, to use the service mode functions of the Durst printer software for diagnostics and to support fault diagnosis.
With the Level 2 training the certified engineer is able to operate the printer, to use the service software for diagnostics and perform autonomous troubleshooting. The training also includes the replacement of parts that require no special adjustment.
This course deepens the knowledge from production planning to production itself. Based on detailed information on the various production processes, as well as the guidelines and schedules for optimum printing performance.
A combination of the contents of the training "Maintenance Engineer" and additionally a deepening of knowledge in the printing and production processes gives the participant an overview of the entire technical aspects of the system.
This module includes general “Operation Basics” and focuses on the workflow from the image file / prepress to the final print. Participants learn the theory behind and the conducting of printer linearization, media profiling, deter- mining of ink-limits and color management specific settings.
